Hope this is the correct forum to put this. Not mine just saw this ad on Craig's list .( ad id# 6562063557 under parts )in Massachusetts and thought it could .Help someone. Seems like a great package for the pric. For the right person . 72 340 and 727 trans with k member.hope this can help someone out.

Regardless of the lower control arms, if the 3rd picture in the ad indicates a date stamping of 11/25/72 then it’s for sure an engine cast for the ‘73 model year!

I suspect some of you already noticed, "also got driveshaft and 8 3/4 with 323 suregrip from same car".

Based on engine/trans/K pricing, you could probably get a heck of a deal on the rear, or for that matter all of it, go get um boys!

Yes, the casting date was the obvious tell!
