Cross border car shipping.

Has anyone had any experiences good or bad that they would like to share regarding cross border auto shipments? I have never attempted this before, and I would appreciate the benefit of others experience. Possibly companies to try, or compasnies to avoid.

New /used or 25+ years old ? It makes a difference. .. a bit surprised you haven't gone here...this tells all..except for using a company for importation..

sold a guy in Winnipeg a late seventies olds omega hatchback a few years ago. car fetched $600. Shipper got $1200. Am in the wrong business.

Riv.ca. Make sure you have a copy of the title, clear with no salvage ,release of Lein, submit info to us customs at border crossing 72 business day hours before you want to export the car. Us customs stamps your title and then you go to canada customs. Us customs usually have business hours and canada customs are usually 24 hrs. You can't export/import autos at all border points. Importing at Canada customs is a breeze- just form one and pay gst plus riv if applicable and ac tax. Make sure you have recall letter.
