I am going to replace my cam sometime in the future to wake up my engine a little and wondered if this would be a good choice for a street and occasional strip car.

Beast Hydraulic Cam
1750-5750 RPM Range
288/298 Adv. Duration
444/467 Gross Lift

360 with speedpro pistons zero deck
eq magnum heads 10:1 compression
750 eddie/ rpm airgap
3:23 gears
904 with stock stall(also going to uprgrade and need to know what is a good stall for this cam that will have good street manners. Willing to give up a little performance for streetabilty) Here are my current cam specs:

Lift: .454''/.475''
Duration: 256°/262°
RPM Range: 1000-5500

I have a new in the box 509 lift Mopar cam and tapper (Lifters) set up that would be a great match for your set up. I am looking to get $110 plus shipping for it.

Dartman, I really do not like that cam. Theres better Crowers in there line up to look at for a performance engine.

If your looking to give your engine a jump in power, you should look at a cam that has the duration @ .050 and Advertised numbers as close as possible.
Look for the cruise RPM range or what you want your car to perform in.
And get as much lift as you can or until the heads can not use the extra lift. (Where the head flow stalls.)

I agree with Rob. The lift rate of that cam is pretty lazy. It'll probably pull good up high but give up alot in the low end. I don't think it'd work good with 3.23 gears. If you really want something better look at Racer Brown cams. Jim is very knowledgeable and will recommend what works best for you. His prices aren't bad either. He told me their direct website url but I lost it but here's the cam list on FBO systems.

The SS-H-24 is close to the Lunati I'm running now and my engine is built very close to yours and it has gobs of low end torque and pulls strong to 6000
