Show me your Non factory center consoles :) with or without floor shifters. I'm planning on running a floor shifter in mine,

but i want a center console that is a bit more useful than the factory one while still looking like it came from the correct time period so no fiberglass ones with computer screens and all that jazz.

but a cup holder, arm rest, ext. would be nice What setups have some of y'all run?

Not really a custom console but with a custom touches. In my 65 Dart wagon (panel wagon)I’m using a 66 Charger front half of the full length console. The console has a factory 66-70 B Biody armrest at the rear. The front half features an early 2000’s pullout cupholder from a Ram truck’s center armrest. It’s mounted in a fabricated housing which includes 3 toggle switches for some electrical stuff. The console top also holds my power window switches and if I choose to add power door locks, the switch for it. I can do the B Body console as I’m using the narrow 66 Dart bucket seats. No pics yet

Built and liked it, then I found a very skinny console that did not have a top plate and then cut wood and aluminum to trim in my shifter, painted with vinyl paint, built my own mounts, I know it's not a mopar console but it works better then the wood one I built, 70 Monty Carlo and 70 71 Chevel. My creative mind does funny stuff at times

ive seen 70 chevelle consoles in darts and they look pretty good
It was the skinniest console I have seen, located one with out the top plate for $40.00, who knows, I might find a center console that need repairs out on a mopar one day. But yes, the console I posted above did work for me in my 66 Plymouth Valiant Sedan

oh i really like the look of that! I wonder if the factory mopar shifter and linkages would fit. She looks pretty narrow.

I would think it it would, depending on what A body your are talking about, the linkage coming threw the floor would be the only concern, but the console can be moved side to side to accommodate it, PLENTYof room forward and back

71 Duster with an auto in my case.

think im gonna grab me a chevelle console and fab up a top plate that mimics the factory a body mopar gearshift indicator.

I like the look of it and like the key lock armrest feature.

Here one I did for my car before I changed shifters now this is in my son's car, had the double din stereo mount made to fit the console. Just the B&M quick silver shifter. The switch is for lights at the bottom of the cup holders to have them on if you wanted of off.
