Custom door panels

Curious if anyone has made their own custom door panels before and if so could share photos. I'm kind of just toying with the idea for now, seeing what others may have done.
 
I originally took the stock ratty door panels and removed the vinyl covering, bought some hard foam board and some faux leather from a craft store and remade the panels. I have since removed those panels and bought some Black 1972 wood grained panels from PUI.

What adhesive did you use for the foam and pleather?
 
it wasn't super 77, it was the same stuff I used to put the vinyl top on my car. It was a "super trim adhesive" you spray both parts and let dry before assembling.
