I originally took the stock ratty door panels and removed the vinyl covering, bought some hard foam board and some faux leather from a craft store and remade the panels. I have since removed those panels and bought some Black 1972 wood grained panels from PUI.

What adhesive did you use for the foam and pleather?

I made some for my 50 Buick. They were a button tuck type style. I used 1/2" soft foam and black vinyl with silver chrome that tied on the back side. Sorry no pics.

It was 3M spray can contact adhesive

Do you recall which one? They make a bunch of different versions. I've never had the best luck with the 3m 77 (red can).

it wasn't super 77, it was the same stuff I used to put the vinyl top on my car. It was a "super trim adhesive" you spray both parts and let dry before assembling.
