Custom oil dipstick mismarked 6qt

MRLPerformance 360 with Summit Racing G3536 oil pan. I have documentation that it takes 5 quart oil capacity like typical Mopar small blocks. It has a locking engine oil dipstick that looks like from Masta Performance. 5 quarts brings the level to the low mark. Where it was marked full is actually 6 quarts.

I called Masta Performance and they want $55 for a new dip stick. Probably just remark the dipstick.

Just confirming 5 quart oil capacity? What to use to remark the dipstick?

if i remember correctly, Mike got his dispsticks from a local guy who made them himself

i have used a dremel with a cutoff wheel to slightly graze the dipstick

your not running a large capacity filter are you?

I was running the short filter previously. I installed the middle size Mopar Performance P4452890 yesterday.

The change in filter capacity might account for the low reading
Would be interesting to see where it reads with a shorty
