Kidding of course... Came out of my 63 dart 225 i just bought, was plannig on tearing it down anyways but this points to it being more fun than i thought..

What the hell happened? Banged valves???

When you have it all rebuilt, do you know how to check your correct push rod length?

And is that the only fuel pump? It really belongs near the tank.

I have not removed the head yet, will be doing that tomorrow. I think it sat for a long time and when they decided to sell they fired it without making sure everything was working right, stuck valve. Everything is going to be "Cleaned up" with a mechanical pump to carb, Electric for the nitrous system... won't look like it does now!

yikes! i had a few bent ones, but nothing like that. i didnt know you bought a 63 dart. i look forward to seeing what you do with it. did you paint your duster?

Yup painted the duster! And bought a 63 dart. I will put up some pics in a bit.

It was a stuck valve, found the lifter pushed out of its bore with no damage to the cam or the lifter so i got lucky!

The lifter was laying down in the valley unharmed!
