Cylinder head swap

Does any one know for sure if you can put a 360 heads on a 318 any valve clearance issues?
i have a pair of 78 360 police heads and a 71 318 i want to install them on i know thy will bolt on just dont want to bend valves if it hits the block deck Thank you

You can put them in with no issues, they will bolt on and the valves will be fine, even with 2.02" intakes...

However you will get about a 1.2 drop in compression from the larger combustion chambers.

You will still get a benefit from the heads, but you will get more benefit if you put a set of 10.5 318 pistons in and then put the 340/360 heads on and you will be around 9.2 compression....

Also throw a good double roller timing chain on it, the stock 318 chains stretch and jump to easy.
