D300 passed the towing test

loaded the D300 with my 01 3/4 truck
the low compression 440 did very well with the load very happy, this girl will be towing my dart to the track and shows for sure

Good choice for a tow vehicle, I had a 76 W250 with a 440, awsome pulling power, but 4 mpg was a little hard on the wallet.

4 mpg is all it would get pulling.
One time I had 16,300 lbs on the trailer when I hauled in some scrap metal, it pulled it with no problem.
