Scariest ride of my life was in a rental minivan - driven by a retired Formula One race driver. We did the Allen Berg Racing School experience a couple years ago in Phoenix - 2 hours plus an add-on of some extra laps. Before we got to drive the Formula Renault cars, we all loaded up in a minivan, driven by Allen Berg. With a total of 8 people in that van, I'm sure he went at least 20 mph faster through the track (coned off in the parking lot - to get on the actual track, you had to do the longer/more expensive package) than any of us managed in the race cars!
