Dakota front bearing choices-copy from FTO

Posted in the truck forum ... but not a lot of traffic as this corner!

Well its time to look at front wheel bearing on the 04 Dakota 4wd. I am sporting some larger 285 BFG all terrains and was wondering if stock or aftermarket front wheel bearings would be best.
Rock auto has the Mopar replacements and MOOG as well as all the " economy" choices. guess which one is twice the cost....

Any thoughts?

Well I wish that was always the case, and that simple. Moog had in the past been a choice for upgrades over factory and dealer / OEM prices have routinely been questionable. I have not shied away for kicking out the dollars for what I want!

I am just fishing for maybe some real world experience.

I’ve always gotten timken bearing when possible. Are those available for Dakota’s?

yes , The Timken set up was recommended by almost all the jeep owners I have talked with. They are in the same price range as the Moog products and also available through Rock Auto.
They should be at my door by Thursday.
