I'm getting ready to start working on an AC system for my magnum swapped '71 Scamp. My first thoughts are to get everything under the hood for a '94-'96 Dakota. I will use the factory '71 Evap core and expansion valve, then have hoses made to connect to the Dakota dryer and compressor.

My question is, does Dakota AC stuff fit the Scamp engine bay better, or should I look at similiar years of the Rams? I would think things like the Dakota AC condenser would fit better than a Ram one, but haven't taken any measurements.

Ram and Dakota are pretty much the same, Dak dryer turns to pass side more than Ram. Stay away from Durango and Grand as they use a different system all together.
