Just picked up a real Mopar Dana 60 B body rear end. It has a 4:10 sure grip.
Planning on narrowing a Dana for my 62 Lancer.(currently has a narrowed 8 3/4) I have several other truck Dana rears I could narrow and am wondering if the Car Dana I just picked up is too valuable to butcher.
Opinions please.

My thoughts are sell the B body rear to finance building one of the truck rears. I'm sure there are some B body folks who would love to buy it off you, provided it was reasonably priced. If I were you, I'd keep the 4:10 sure grip to put in my car.

if it's got a BOM number and build date on the pass tube, sell it to a resto guy.

If it's from an A-12 car...

I have the same dilema.I have one out of a 69 1/2 A12 car. I just don't know what to do.I know what it is worth and know wants to pay.I my self would rather trade it for one allready cut down and it's a car rear.If you need a car rear the truck rear won't work.If you have a ladder bar or a 4 link I would cut down one of the truck rears. In my case I thing I will be cutting down the A12 rear, Mark
