Do you already have the right carrier to fit the 4.56? They do make a shim if you don't have the right carrier but I've heard some people don't like using them but I've never had any problems when doing that. I would recommend a longer ring gear bolt though. I did check my stash but didn't have an 88

Thanks, it has the correct Mark Williams spool. Trying to replace the existing gears with a Pro set of gears. The car is heavier than expected, and trying to keep breakage to a minimum
