ok guys this is my first narrowed axle, so bare with me here. I have an axle out of a 69 F250 the tag code is 603046-5 it's a full floater open diff and has 4.10 gears (up graded from the 3.73 by someone at some point) I have a friend that can narrow the housing, but I need to know if the weld on flange is different for the end of the tube. I'm told that it does not matter. But I want to make sure, before I get too carried away. I'm in the axle for 100 right now and don't wanna drop more money on it if it won't work. Anyone have a link to a website that this has been done, or have pics of it if it was done by someone here. Also anyone have a link to buy a flange if needed. Thanks in advance.
