In Australia getting a rear end for my 73 Dart leaves me with little choice, like a cut down Ford 9" or a 7" Borgwanner.
I have been offered a Dana 60 out of a Ford F250 duel wheel, now I know I will need to cut this down, buy axles, put in other wheel bearing ends & get brakes.
Are all Dana 60 diffs the same?
Will this fit a 73 Dart?
What else will I need?
Cheers

There are the dana 61 dana 60's, usually found in some diesel apps...

Put up the BOM # and i can tell you what you got...

sounds like a good offer. take that in a heartbeat.
Ford axcle housing wat to go.
no rot enderneath u bolt clamps like mopar.

Around here it was easy to find someone with jigs who can cut down a Ford 9" but not a Dana 60. Its just something to consider.

Easy here to find someone to cut down a 9" which makes thing simple.
I'm trying to stay Mopar all the way but after looking at the cost of Dana parts here it may be my only option.

WHATS THE STANDARD DIFF MESSUREMENT FROM FLANG TO FLANG ON A 73 A BODY?
