My dad was a Tampa Fl cop from 1946-1971 and I can remember riding in 62-67 cop cars of this era. Except the 62 he took me for a ride in had the 413 in it. Man the smell of stale cigarettes and the power of those early mopars are something i will always remember.

Actually, they both were in that movie- and yeah, not a career highlight for either.

As for the car, I'd drive the wheels off that beauty.

1962 dodge dart for sale. It has a six cylinder in it and it does run and drive but it does not go into reverse. Also it was in the move the perfect world with Clint Eastwood. The car is not a factory police car but the guy i got it from said that Cedar park bought it new and it was more cost effective to buy one and have it made into one way back when. The car is very cool looking. It needs floor work and tlc, or if you really wanted to drive as is.
