Picked up this car from the original owner, he even gave me the bill of sale from the Dodge dealer as well as every receipt for anything he bought since new. The car was parked in his garage since the fall of 1985, pulled out in Oct. 09 and trailered to my house. It is 100% complete and original, floors and body are all solid only had minor surface rust underneath.
Front left frame rail had some rot in about a 3 sq in spot where the battery acid had leaked and rotted. To be safe I changed the complete rail with a brand new one, it was so easy that I did the right side as well just to make them both like new. Rebuilt the complete driveline (only has less than 70,000 miles). 727 rebuilt with the bigger Hemi clutch packs and TransGo kit, 2500 stall. Engine bottom end balanced and assembled by Tenant Racing with 10-1 pistons, H beam rods, factory windage try. Heads were completely rebuilt by Tim Banning of FHO (For Hemis Only)
http://www.forhemisonly.com/ . Using his CNC machine the bowls have been cleaned out for 2.14 1.81 stainless valves with Comp Cams beehive springs. Heads are flowed and cc'd. Using a Comp Cams XE275HL with 231/237 @.050 and .525 lift. Comp Cams roller rockers and 3/8 push rods, Torker intake and 750 Holley. Hooker super comp headers and Flowtech X pipe exhaust.
Car is just now being stripped of all paint and will be painted in December Hemi Orange with black stripes and hood scoop. (scoop not original but I like the look and have added it)
Check out the video, has pictures and some video of it running.
