1971 Plymouth Duster being converted to a 1975 Dodge Dart Sport. Can be made into different years with grille & taillight bezel changes. May consider selling without front clip & related Dart Sport parts if you wish to build as a Duster or Demon from own parts/donor car. Will be very lightweight all-steel to start with. Basically, the hard work of stripping, cleaning, most bodywork and roll bar/frame connector installation is already done.

$2,500

I'll be racing at South Georgia Motorsports Park over the Memorial Day weekend All-Mopar Southern Nationals, but this car won't be there.

* Car is very solid and had minimal rust to start with. Bodywork professionally done by Darren's Custom & Restoration - Green Cove Springs, FL. Very little bondo. One lower rear quarter panel was replaced.

Windows, and some other body parts, like solid, primered fenders, are loose. Wheelwells trimmed for 9"x30" slicks.

* 8 point roll bar tied into round frame connectors.

* Mopar SS springs 002/003. Good, used condition.

* Includes used standard bumper brackets, bumpers (cores), '75/'76 grille, headlight bezels, '75 taillight bezels & new marker lights.

* Dart Lite hood. Approx. 10-15 lbs lighter than all-steel. Requires lighter tension hood springs. Can use springs from FWD Dodge Daytona or similar cars. All-steel hood is currently on car & included.

* Dart Lite/Feather Duster trunk lid. (On car, about 5-10 lbs lighter than all steel.)

* 8 3/4" rear w/Moser 35 spline axles (used) 4.5" bolt pattern (Center section not included.)

* Original '71 doors have no crash reinforcements.

* All new Moog front suspension parts. Most installed. (No shocks.)

* Have many interior pieces including carpet, door panels, dash frame, new dash cap on original pad, handles, latches, etc. (Seats not included.)

***Additional related OEM parts available/found will be included. Inventory in progress.

Needs: Brake lines, master cylinder, adapter, fuel system, battery tray, all wiring, front brake assemblies (Has '71 disc brake spindles), seats. Will need other misc. parts and work to finish/convert to later model A-body. (Will be checking if rear brakes are OEM or E/B body - needing rebuild)

* Haven't found the last Title/Bill of Sale yet.

Car has surface rust from Florida humidity, including floors and trunk. But they are solid and had holes from race seats welded shut. Tire well has pinholes and section was cut out for fuel cell sump.

More pics are available via email and can take more of specific areas.
Car is in Bunnell, FL, just north of Daytona Beach. Prefer not to ship car.

Extra cost items:

* Nice, NEW aftermarket AAR Dart Sport scoop (Probably the nicest aftermarket scoop I've seen. I have one on my Dart Sport.) - $250 with car. $300 without (+shipping)
