Thanks to all whom can help. This is what I got. I bought a hood to cowl seal for my car. I cant figure out how to attach it. The manufacturer said it fits my car but cant tell me how to install it. There are six holes at the back of the hood and six at the front. Am I supposed to have a hood to radiator core support seal also? the pictures are provided so you can see what I am dealing with. Pictures would be great if you have any. Make them as detailed as possible. The one pix is where the seal goes on the back of hood near windshield at bottom. The slotted holes are 6 in number going across the hood the clip is in the other picture. The seal has no holes in it at all. Thanks Tod

I seem to remember removing one from my 73 dart sport when I took it apart (like 1996). It had 6 metal clips that went through the edge of the seal that was against the hood. I did not reinstall it since I use car as a race car, not even sure if I can find the old oone.

lay the seal up there at the back of the hood and mark the hole locations on the seal. Drill a tiny hole through the seal at the proper locations. Push the metal clip through and bend the tiny little tabs on the clips over to hold the clips in place. Bend them inward. I put mine on a 2x4 and tapped the tabs over with a hammer to bend them over. Snap the seal with the clips installed into the holes on the bottom of the hood. I tried pliers and such to bend the clips and broke one. Its a pain. Use the hammer and board. That worked best for me. Good luck.
 
The rear & front seals are different.
