This concept car was a small blurb in several magazines back in that time frame. I was 17 at the time and had subscriptions to Hot Rod, Car Craft, and Popular Hot Rodding.

Keep in mind car manufacturers always released concept cars back in that time frame to gauge public reaction.

There was really nothing mechanical that increased the "GO" factor of the car - and back in that time frame it was more about the "GO" and not tacked on "SHOW".
 
It was in the Steven Juliano collection. For all the money that guy had, I still can't understand how they let that collection break up when he passed. Seems like he could've bought a museum somewhere or had more of a plan to keep all that together.
