Dart swinger gauge cluster

I have a 74 dart swinger, managed to pull cluster out, however i dont know what i need to do to remove headlight switch and wiper motor switch to split the case in half to get to gauges, i tried but dont see how without cracking it or breaking something , any luck would be appreciated. Thanks.

Remove the knobs and there is a strange looking nut of sorts that needs to be removed. If memory serves me correctly.

The wiper switch knob just pushes on. Give it a tug and it comes off, then unscrew the nut behind that. The headlight switch has a small push button on the back of the switch. Push and hold that and pull the knob and shaft out. Then remove the nut
