can anyone tell me how hard it is to replace the dash pad on a 69 Dart ?

Pain in the arse!! I did a 68 cuda and a 69 cuda. Positive they are equally ignorant!! Prepare to be scratched up pretty good. Take the front seats out to be able to manouver easier. Use a 1/4" drive ratchet with some long extensions...I believe the nuts holding the dash pad on are 5/16" nuts. For the middle part, it might be easiest if you take the radio and heat controls out...its been a couple years since I did it but pretty sure it helps. Good luck, let us know how it works out.

I thought you had to remove the windshield to get to some bolts? Or is that for removing the dash itself?

ok , let me ask this, would you just use one of the dash pad covers instead ? this is going to be a driver , not a show car by any stretch, sounds like more trouble than its worth.

Replace it...I might be exaggerating how hard it is, but Im 6'3" so its a little cramped for me...but way easier if you take the time (10 minutes tops) to remove the front seat/s and the console if you have one. Get a mirror as well for those difficult angles...Its not rocket science, its strictly labor...

Ok, my 69 cuda dash pad is out and there are 5 studs and 2 screw holes. The 2 screw holes are located approx 1" in from each corner. Hope that helps

nothing is better then a brand new pad ;) be careful everything under the dash is SHARPPPPP and there is a few bolts that are really hard to remove. Dont be in a rush or you will be hella pissed. here is my photos on my dash swap yours should be about the same.
