Hi guys

My dash upper pad shows some wears and cracks.
I found one used for sale on internet, but the seller isn't sure about the donor car. Valiant for sure, but 68-70 for the year.
This dash pad comes out of the car which have this cluster :

The cluster part number, if it can help to identify it :

I think it's a '68 Valiant.

So, can a '68 Valiant dash pad fit a '71 Demon dashboard?

:thankyou:

67 -74 maybe all will interchange. But some are shaped a little different. 68 is a 3 piece but the top piece will also fit
.

The picture shows the heater wood grain panel of a 71 on up car as does the steering column due to the depress to remove key button. The cluster has to be 69 or earlier Valiant because it has the flasher switch in the dash

That dash pad would fit and look correct on any a-body 69-76 . The grain may differ but the pad is the same. 67 the pad fits the same but is pointier and has an extra rib across the top. 68 is one year on its own and has 2 lower pads on the dash. a 68 dash pad will not work on any other year. It will fit but you will have bare ends where the lower pads connect

Find someone local to you and have yours recovered. Trying to have one shipped to you in France might get a little pricey versus having yours recovered.

The picture shows my '71 Demon in which I installed a Valiant cluster (it's why there is the woodgrain panel and the remove key lever). This valiant cluster comes out of the same car that the dash pad (it's the same seller).
It's why I wanted to date the cluster : it would also date the dash pad

The dash panel I found on internet is located in France... Shipping insn't a problem

Here are three pictures of this dash pad. What do you think about? 68 or 69?
