I'm looking for the date code on my 14" wheels on my '65 Barracuda.

There's nothing around the valve stem and I haven't found anything else. Am I missing it or is there no date code that shows with a tire mounted? Is there a date code that's visible with the tire off?

Thanks

Some rims have one in the hub area, one near the valve stem & if you remove the tires, inside the narrow part of the band.

I do not recall looking at any '65 wheels before, but look for a K or an M with a number beside them & one under them just for fun?

Chrysler used at least two wheel makers, Kelsey-Hayes (K) & Motor Wheel (M).

As one example from a 1970 model year wheel we have M2 over a 9 here;

The only external marking I've found is this. "44" in the center of a "D". Dayton?
