Dead spot

In the last day or so I have developed a dead spot in my 74 duster. It is just off idle and if you go past it, it is fine. It does it when you are starting from a dead stop and it does it if you are coasting and then barely touch the throttle to speed back up.
This is a 318 with a 625 carter on it. It just started doing this yesterday. Any ideas?

I'd check your accelerator pump linkage to make sure you're getting that squirt.

I'd also take a look at the fuel filter since it just started. But also the accell pmp as mentioned, too much or too little shot will do it.
