Figured I'd make a community thread for this....

Post your fender codes, and those more knowledgeable can decode them for you!

Yeah, I tried googling and searching the site... The tag decoder I found told me my '76 Duster 318 was a '68 Duster 383 4bbl (oh how I wish).....

So here's a pic of my fender tag. Any experts wanna take a crack at it?

I believe the two codes under the screws are:
G74 (left) and M26 (right)

Also, I invite others to post pics or text of their fender tags for the few experts here.

Thanks,
- CK

Mopar Fender Tag Decoding Service

Sorry, we have discountinued this service. We did not have the time needed to complete the orders. You can still use our free Mopar Fender Tag Decoder.
Link takes you right back to the VIN page. Also, that's the same one that told me my car was a '68 383 4-barrel....

I'm not having any luck with this linke either...it's telling me i'm driving a 71 and everything else is uknown...but i'm sure it's user error...lol

the 6 in the VIN for the year screws up the info up in the decoders. its a 318 auto duster built sep 9 1975.
because the decoders only go to 1974, the decoders read the 6 as a 1966 and shows most of the options for such. you could try entering it as a 1974 and see what happens. G = 383 in 1966

Any other info? I know it was originally silver (by looking at the unpainted chunks), but the decoder mentions "unknown at this time" all over it. :\

Looks like the K3R is a red and black stripe found under the A62 code.
LA2 is listed as Cloud Metallic, with a Red Canopy (V4E)

Can anyone help me out with my 65?

Thanks in advance for your help

Squiggy: The hamtramck link was WONDERFUL! Oodles of info! :D Thanks!!! Also, it lets me know that someone replaced my front seat at one time... I apparently have a Silver Duster and have the Boca door panels, but velour seats... Not that it matters, however, since I have plans to do a black interior eventually anyway. :D

It is a great site, and it sure nice that we can get parts for these things now. Just ordered my interior from Legendary.
Good luck on the restoration!
