Degreasing my 69 Cuda

Wanted to share this with the FABO members. An idea I have used to clean the engine compartments and under side of some of my cars. I go to wal-mart and buy a kiddie pool and use it to catch the crap. I spray oven cleaner let it sit a while, then I spray it down. I have an old fire ext. that I can fill with water and compressed air so I can regulate the amount of water that I spray. Maybe this will help someone that is in the stages i am. Here is some pics.

Yup, that oven cleaner works really well for cleaning up the engine bay. I used several cans of it when I cleaned up the Vart. Good tip for folks.
