Deltatech's 1973 Plymouth Duster

-
I took the opportunity to upgrade and move the stereo, speakers and Computer.
the newer stereo is 80w x5.The Speakers are Pioneer with 12 inch woofers, 6 inch mid and 3 inch highs with built in crossovers.
I used some Dollar General store plant hanger brackets that were 2.50 each to mount the speakers on the wall.

How to move a 500Lb 44 inch top by yourself with
2x 1 x12
1 truck ramp ($99 harbor freight)
2 scraps of wood
1 moving dolly

the 44 inch top won't fit under the worktable , I've got to doctor it.
But the hard part was getting it off the top.

After removing the shelf under the workbench the top fits. I can still get into the top of it as well, it's were I'll store large gaskets because it's a nice covered, protected, big, flat space.

Looks great! you must be young enough to bend down that far to get stuff out of the box if it's under the bench. I can get down, getting up might take a bit of work. I know the freight dollies are less expensive but Menards has a larger diameter wheel for easier rolling. that may not matter, your floor looks smooth. mine looks like the ice age glaciers skimmed off the top coating of the concrete. gives me inspiration; motivation or energy ,no, but inspired none the less.
I sit on my rolling stool instead of bending down. A wise old gentelman told me the first thing to go is the legs so I use the stool as leg exercise now that I'm in my 50's. I'll keep in mind the menards dollies having bigger wheels. So far the Hardly Frugal dollies roll good.

it's about break time! Day 5 and the garage is 98% finished.
I still have 3 more rooms to tackle and my back yard is a mess but may get back to the 440 instead and take a break from organizing.

After day 6 there is finally enough room to move the toolbox from one side to the other on either side of the Duster.
It was a LOT of work but worth it in the long run.

I had to move some stuff around in the attic and the dust gave me a severely bad sinus infection. I should have wore a respirator. Definitely Will next time.
I was feeling about 10% this morning but Irrigating, humidifier ,meds and plenty of water brought it up to 25%.
The headache was a 8 out of 10 yesterday, I got it down to 3 out 10 today.
and my pussy hurts,lol.

sorry to hear about your sinuses. breathing is one of those things we take for granted; until we can't! different stuff will set mine off but with asthma, it gets iffy. glad you have a plan of action for when this happens.

I've gotten particle pneumonia and sinus infections so many times from sanding, grinding and cutting on this project car that I have learned the steps to clear it up the quickest.
This happens Every time I wonder if I should be wearing a respirator and don't put one on.
I think "Nah,it shouldn't be too bad, I'll be fine" every single time.
THIS IS THE LAST TIME....
From now on I'll slow down, take the time to put one on if there is any question at all about it in my mind.

Synergy and irony at it's finest...
I had totally forgotten that I picked up a stack of dust masks that went on sale two days ago.....
It's odd timing...

I'm already back up to 95% but it's too hot to work out in the garage today. The thermometer reads 105 in there right now.
I'm thinking about sleeping through the hot part of the day and working later like they do in The Southwest U.S., Mexico and Europe.
Yardwork tomorrow so maybe Monday for the 440.
