Interested in buying a demon double style scoop. Question, will the one for a 73-76 duster fit and work on a 73-76 dart bumped hood, or do i need to get one made for a dart sport.

They are different. The center ridge hood like a 69 Fish is a Dart sport style.

I kinda figured but wanted to be sure. I wonder if i can remove the studs on a flat one and shape the contour the bottom to fit. I want to put this on a 69 barracuda.

I have the one you want.

It is an original but needs a small amount of work on the right rear edge. It fit the hood perfectly.

With your skill I am sure you could modify the other but they are plenty on the aftermarket, and wonder if it is worth the time.

It is 2 pieces as I remember and wonder if you can just swap the lower piece to fit the 69 or Dart sport hood.

Possibly. I just thought it was 2 pieces bonded together to make the upper and lower half. It makes the cost cheaper to produce when you have 1 top and 2 different bases rather than 2 completely different scoops..

Yes i understand that, i believe they purposely made them that way, so they only needed 1 mould for the top part, then 2 different moulds for either a flat or curved base.

Pics of the bottom. Slight crack at right rear edge. The front piece for the ridge is just screwed on with Phillips heads.
