Hey guys, my 340 Demon had a factory black vinyl top. Of course the roof was toast so I replaced the roof. I forgot how many studs were used and the placement. Some say 6" apart but do I need 3 or 4 studs on each side? Do I need one near the quarter window and if so, I will need 4 studs? I'm using pop rivets and want to drill the holes before paint. The second photo is where I think they should go.

Wow, you went above and beyond. Great information and photos. Thank you!

Where did you buy the clips?
I need them bad for my trim, thanks.

T-Man700. Just to let you know the (trim clips) I sent you worked fine on my son’s car also. KB9GIB

Nice car, thanks. I also found 5 factory clips in a pile of small parts I had laying around. Between yours and the ones I found I’ll be good. Thanks again and take of yourselves. I fixed the a/c bezel and put a wood-grain 3M overlay on it then sold it on eBay for $110. I found another from a FABO member, so I’m good now. You guys are outstanding.

TMan-700 we are happy you could fix the bezel we was sick that it got broken in shipping. Be safe. KB9GIB

I contacted R/T spec. Several months ago and I don’t think he could ever come up with anything I never received anything from them. I finally found some that works with a little bit of trimming.here is what you need they will work. Forgot to add you will need the 2 metal ones for the center. If

Do you think you really need the metal ones in the center? I was going without.

Is the one in the center a small bolt that goes thru and you have to nut it from the inside? If it is, the ones that hold hood and decklid trim for a Challenger might work.

Don’t know for sure. we had them from one of the kits that was supposed to have fit But didn’t so we used them. Maybe someone that knows for sure will chime in.And yes they are the small metal ones.
