I have a 73 Plymouth Duster, and at some point in it's lifetime it's gotten hit sadly enough. The dents are on the back fenders right behind the wheel wells and the driver side door has been hit as well. On the fenders you can press the dents in but as soon as you take your hand off the dent goes back to it's original placing. How do you pop it back in so it stays there for good?

You can shrink it with a rosebud torch or a shrinking hammer and dolly. Heat the center of the dent with a torch until cherry red, quench it with water, you can also dolly and hammer the area.

Well! Sounds like I got my worked cut out then. Do I heat the inside or the outside of the dent(like the inside of the fender or the outside of the fender.) though is my only last question??
