Hi guys,

I'm in the process of re-assembling my 65 valiant 273 (AV-2) with a 904 trans and column shift.

The problem is I've lost or misplaced the shift cable bracket that mounts on the steering column. This little bracket (see picture attached) is what both the shift and park cables are anchored to. The bracket bolts to the steering column under the rubber boot that protects the shift mechanism on the column right up by the firewall.

I'm hoping that someone has it laying around from when the upgraded their shifter or can lead me to a source for one. Any bhelp at all would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

dude you messed up losing that... that a one year only deal... i know we dont have one as i used it on a A990 column shift car...

only place i could even think to call would be DVAP.

Would a 65 B body have it?

Stupid is right, I can't even think of a reason I would remove it from the column!!

Would that be "DEAD VALIANT AUTO PARTS"?

Mike

Yea, I think as long as it's a '65 and has a 904 column shift its gonna have it

Oh, DVAP.
"Dearly Valued Auto Parts"
LOL

Thanks for the lead Slant-SIX-DAN. I just emailed them a part request. I'll keep my fingers crossed!!

I'm probably gonna end up paying through the nose.
But, better to laugh about it than cry, that's all.
