One of my ex-bosses, who became an awesome, knowledgeable, two-way communications guy, started "life" with cable TV
He was telling me that on one of his first installs, he was drilling a pilot hole through a wall, and it just would not quite go through!!!!. So they were drilling..............and drilling...........and drilling............
and finally looked out at the outside of the wall.........................
