So, I was trying to remove a stuck cylinder out of a 440 (5 out 8 removed), hands where covered with WD-40, lost control of my single jack and chipped where the cylinder meets the deck, am I hosed or is this fixable, I wanna know before I load it up and take it to machine shop. This is so embarrassing.:banghead:

You've really done it now. That block is forever marked as yours. By the time the deck is surfaced, the cylinder is bored, and the top of the cylinder is chamfered, there MAY be enough of a pit to point to and say "I did that"...

Yeah, it will be fine after it's decked and bored like what's his face said.

In a combat situation, a file and cylinder hone, and clean the deck with a cookie and run it.
