Anyone using 75w90 Redline synthetic gear oil part# 57904, can the Chrysler sure grip additive be used with this oil even if the bottle states that there is already a limited slip additive in the oil and no additional additive is required. See my problem is, I put in the Chrysler additive and read the bottle afterwards.

If you add the additional addiitive you run the risk of your posi not locking up aka excessive slippage. I've only ever used Amsoil rear diff with their slip additive (diff fluid calls for it to be added). Never had a problem and also due figure 8s righter after the change to A make sure I had enough limited slip additive and B I do a small burnout to ensure I leave two black marks.

You'll be fine. Even if a gear oil says it has additive in it, you still want to add a bottle of additive.

Thanks guys for the response.
