Just wondering, what the difference there is, between a & b body springs? Reason being, when I got my 72 Swinger, the guy gave me a 1970 B body 8 3/4 and some brand new springs. The 8 3/4 went in fine, after I put some new perches, in the correct spot I had a terrible time getting the springs in and never could get the rear shackles past 50 degrees forward.
I'm wondering if I have the wrong springs mounted.
Thanks for any help

Use early b body springs, they are 21 in front segment and 35 rear for a total of 56. The a body springs are 20 front and 35 rear for a total of 55 inches. This will move the rear back 1 inch and help center the tires in the wheel well. The years to get b body springs are 64-65!
