Differences between AMC 360 and LA 360?

I have the option to purchase one for $50 and was wondering if the shortblock is the same as a regular mopar 360. So I could use my intake, MSD ignition and buy parts easily!

I may be asking this wrong, but if I remember correctly they were different companies.

Any help would be appreciated!

They are completely different. I even think the distribtor is in the front on
the AMC motor.
