Differences in OTHER parts between V8 & s/ant6 cars??

Is an A/C heater box the same between cars with different motors?

I understand radiators, axles, transmissions, leaf springs, and front suspension can be different between motors...

If your swapping stuff into & out of two or three /6 cars into what will be a V8 car, what do I need to look out for or can I re-use?

76 Volare RR (360 E58??) + 78 Volare w/ A/C into a 77 /6 3spd manual Aspen. Turning it into a comfortable budget V8 hotrod.

I think that my 318/904 74 RR had substandard wiring and am beginning to really think twice & wonder what works properly.
