Differential Color Markings

View attachment 1715364662 View attachment 1715364663 Maybe its late, and I’m tired but how do I use these markings on 8 1/4 diff to reassemble? Its been apart a couple months and only disassembled enough to remove the c-clips so axles could be removed so that I could clean and paint the drum backing plates.

We got both red and blue markings. How do they aline?

If I am thinking what you are asking, there is no alignment or timing of the spider gears. They will only install one way, push your axles inward install your clips, then roll the two spiders gears (the ones you marked blue) find the happy place for the gear shaft to slip into the carrier and gears. This you can easy enough be done by turning just one axle...
