i have been trying to clean out my garage and I've got thousands of car magazines going back at least 5 or 6 decades. Hot Rod, Car Craft, Popular Hot Rodding, Mopar Muscle, Mopar ,Collectors Guide, Road and Track, Street Rodder, etc, etc. I can't just throw them out, there's so much history there not to mention so much of my automotive knowledge came from there. I would love to sell the whole bunch to somebody so they could enjoy them for decades to come. Just don't know where to start.

Careful there, I might just take you up on that! I even have some issues of AutoBuff. Super Stock and Drag Illustrated, 4 wheeler, Truckin, National Dragster, you name it and I probably have it, some of them back to the 1950's. Not to mention a lot of Heavy Metal and National Lampoon.

I would love pictures and a little more detail, but if they are in decent condition, $500 is a very very reasonable price for a great catalog of magazine...

At least to me.

I know I have Autobuffs but would have to check on Cars Illustrated. It wouldn't surprise me to find anything in there. I know I have a lot of the Hot Rod Yearbooks all the way into the 60's. I have tons of 70's up because I was subscribed to most of them back then.

i was in your situation, wasnt much interest from buyers, i ended up giving them to younger guys in town that showed some real interest in older muscle. figured if it could help a couple of them it was for the better.my way of thinkin was each mag was about the price of a beer, and ive drank a lot of beer, so no real loss in the long run

if you were here in AZ id be a buyer, but shipping would be a killer

I like your way of thinking, that's a lot of beers. When I was about 14 I used to cut grass for an old lady down the road and one day I was in her barn and noticed a huge stack of car mags going back to the 50's. She said they were her sons from when he lived at home( he was probably about 30 something at that time) I asked if I could have them and she called her son and he said sure. I still have those in my collection but I poured over them for years learning everything I could. I would love to see someone else get them that appreciates such things.

Here's a couple of pics
