Dillinger lower rad support

Anybody on here install the Dillinger lower rad support. Mine is for an early A but I'm sure the kit fits the same for early and late. Pictures of removing the old and installing the new rad support would be great.
I'm just wondering how much to remove and what the 2 odd shape plates are for.

Also the lower rad support it self is bent slightly different if I compare the pictures he sent me to the rad support I received from him. When I put the rad in it takes up the same space as the new rad support.
