I remember someone here posting a thread about the 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII Disappearing Door Prototype Concept Car. Well I was just surfing through the "Other Car" section on E-bay and interestingly enough I came across this!

its got nothing, and i wonder how safe it is, did anybody else see door strikers? what is it braced against? imagine a hit in a door like that...

It's running on tracks front and back, and what appears to be full height of the door at that. Probably much stronger than two small hinges and a striker. But good luck getting out of the car with a dead electrical system etc..
