Hello Folks,
So I am on my second proportioning valve from inline tube and both are leaking at the same joint, the copper washer. I got the BLK250 one because I was told I do not need their "Texas" style one in addition to this distribution block. Well the first one I got leaked at that copper washer and now this new one leaks at the same place.
Their website claims it works with DOT 5 fluid, but I have seen older posts that suggest their internal seals do not work with DOT 5 fluid. So the only idea I got is to get a new copper washer and see if I can get this thing to work.
BUT, in the mean time, if that doesnt work I need another plan of action. Does anyone have an original distribution block for a front disc/rear drum brake car? that would be in decent working condition. I believe I tossed mine as soon as I got this new one from inline tube.
thank you
