Disc brakes

Hold on there partner...

They used the Kelsey Hayes 4 piston disc brakes on the front from 67-72 and they have a 4" bolt pattern.

In 73-76, they switched to the single piston calipers and the 4 1/2" bolt pattern for the wheels.

The Kelsey hayes will bolt on the 69 if you get a complete assy that includes the lower ball joint (it's different for disc than drum), and then bolt the spindle up to the upper ball joint.

If you put the later single piston discs on, I believe that you have to use the later upper control arm also.

I would plan on which way to go, as you wouldn't want 4 1/2" bolt pattern wheels for the front, and 4" bolt pattern for the rear, then you would need 2 spare tires if you get a flat...

Or get a set of axles that are drilled for the 4 1/2" bolt pattern if you want to go with the later single piston brakes.

The rear drums for the 4" bolt pattern are getting hard to find. They stopped making them new at the part stores...

Just some things to consider to make your decision.
