distributor cap male terminal

what cap are you guys using to run the female end wires to male terminal on cap
my msd is to tall in my challenger chassis so I'm going to gut a stock distributor and add good cap if possible
I run a crank trigger and just don't wanna waste the money on a new msd like I did with what's in it now

trying nor cut my hood
about 2 inch shorter would be great

Use a stock Mopar elec dist [ it is shorter ] & use it to trigger a GM HEI 4 pin module.

That is what is inside the MSD R to R dist, a GM 4 pin module on a printed cct board.

The Mopar reluctor fine tips will also give you more accurate cyl to cyl firing than the thick, large gap, rel junk that MSD uses.
