What size is the roll pin for a 340 distributor gear?

Just buy a clip/pin combo kit from the parts store or HF. You'll find the right size in the kit.

1/8 x 3/4 Use them all the time.

Huh... I assumed they were a special hardened solid pin.

No they are just a standard roll pin to hold the shaft retainer bushing off. The bushings always crack, I only use metal ones now. I sell a kit steel bushing, pin and a shim 15.00

Scratch all I said thought it was for a slant. Yes the distrib gear is special I believe.

Oh... we are talking about the Dist shaft and lower pin.
My brain had an oil pump drive image on the screen....lol

I ordered a combo kit with hardened pins.
