Distributor part number decoding

I have a couple distributors that I am trying to find out what engine they are from, does anyone know where I can find out any info on decoding the part numbers?

they are mid to late 70's dist, most muscle car ones first two numbers start 26 in 1966/67, to about 36 in 1972/73. sorry can't be of more help

3755nnn makes this almost certainly a '74 distributor. 3744 201 does not appear in the '74 passenger car parts catalogue, so this might be a truck distributor. How many cylinders is it for?

3874 101 is for 1976 passenger cars with 400-2bbl.

4091 140 is for the '81-'83 fuel-injected 318 Imperial.
