Distributor part number

Recently picked up a 318 with points distributor. I can't find this part number in my book. I was told it might be from a poly 318 since the housing is cast iron. Can anyone on here tell me what it's for? Thanks

It's from a '70 E-body with a 340-6 and std. trans.

My bad, the parts book does show it as a replacement part# for a 340-6 manual trans
and a 71 340-4 manual trans
