Looking to just replace my distributor. Something that'll perform better and also switch my car over to electric ignition. Just wondering if any of you fabo members had any recommendations. Just looking for something that performs well and doesn't cost a billion dollars.

go to a junk yard and pull the dist.,ecm and wiring from a car with the same size engine your running, ie, small block. big block or /6, the wiring is easy, just do a search and you will get detailed diagrams, that's the cheap way, now if you want to spend some cash, then get a mp electronic kit, or msd or something like that, but for a street car just do the junk yard deal, mopar got it right in 74.

This is what I have. Super easy 3 wires to hook up, no box and works using the old female socket type wires if you want a more stock look. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MAA-4757901/ also look into something like the pertronix kit if your distributor is ok otherwise.
